A competent but cowards group ran by General Blue, the Red Ribbon Army originally was an invasion force attempting to overthrow the RP world. However the combined efforts of Miles Edgeworth, Goku, and a multitude of other RPers left Commander Red dead by Staff Officer Black and much of the army in ruins.
With little choice Black turned over command to Edgeworth and vanished, leaving the "Ribbon RPers" in charge of a vast army of soldiers.
It was later that Edgeworth came to Giovanni with an offer, for 10,000 a month Rocket would have their forces enhanced by the vast services of the Red Ribbon Army.
Giovanni accepted and on that day the Ribbons moved in next door to the Rockets to serve as a defensive force against the multitude of threats that would attack the Rockets time and time again.
